CHOOSING THE RIGHT CARE FOR A FAMILY MEMBER

Choosing the right care for a loved one can be daunting. A family member may need more support than you can provide but feel anxious at the thought of living in a residential care home. We are here to provide Home/Domiciliary care Moving away from the comfort of their home is an upheaval and conditions such as dementia can make it even more difficult. Caring for a parent or relative can be stressful and we understand that it’s even harder if you don’t live near them or you’re juggling work and family commitments. Choosing the right moment to discuss their care is never easy. Whether you’re looking ahead or find yourself having to make immediate plans, we can give you the tools and advice to help you approach the tricky conversations. We are always at the end of the phone.

Providing the very best service

We always ensure you and your family are in the driving seat when there are key decisions to be made and we do everything we can to make the situation as stress-free as possible. A dedicated care manager will oversee all aspects of the care plan and organise everything for you. From the onset, they undertake a full assessment of needs and provide suggestions on the level of support required and any aids or equipment that could be useful. We understand that arranging just the right level of assistance takes a personal yet practical approach. The care manager works closely with your family to develop a comprehensive care plan so you can be assured that your loved one is receiving the very best, and most appropriate support.

Caring for both staff and clients alike

We are passionate about your care and our company values permeate everything we do. We recognise that our staff are the lifeblood of our business and we truly value their ongoing commitment. For this reason, we invest in their continuous development to make sure they always feel fully supported.
At Vow Care we only employ our own carers. We understand how important continuity of care is, so we make sure you have a small, dedicated team working with your loved one. All our staff are professionally trained and they receive ongoing support to make sure they are ready to deal with every eventuality.
As a regulated care provider, we are accredited by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We are also a member of the Hertfordshire Care Provider Association and our mission is to always exceed their code of conduct to provide the highest quality home care.

From companionship to live-in care – we can help

For many of our clients, we provide round-the-clock live-in care, but we can also provide just a few hours’ respite care if that’s all you need.
Live-in care gives you reassurance that your loved one always has someone on hand to help them remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.
However, a few hours a day to provide companionship, care and even practical assistance may be all that’s needed to give them the confidence to stay in their own home for years to come.
If you’d like to discuss your situation, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us for a free, no obligation discussion.

They are very professional and efficient care team. They have very high standards and compassion not only for the client but for everyone else in the family.
